50 Writing Tools

Pencils One of my recent goals is to become a better writer.  Why you ask?  I have no plans on becoming a writer, but I find that the ability to quickly and clear express ideas in an e-mail our report is invaluable to my role as a leader.  I first noticed this when I took a role as a Technical Architect at Honeywell.  A large part of my job was to write Statements of Direction and Technical Reviews for new products and technologies.

One of the resources that I have found to be very helpful is Roy Clark's Fifty Writing Tools Column.  If you'd like to improve your writing skills I highly recommend it.  Now if I could only figure out this comma thing....
